Terms of Service

English is the authoritative version of these Terms.

These Terms govern your use of the Knuckl platform. Please read them carefully — by using Knuckl you agree to be bound by them.

1. Who We Are and Who This Applies To

Knuckl LLC provides a construction workforce marketplace. These Terms apply to everyone who uses Knuckl, including workers, subcontractors, and hiring contractors.

2. Account Rules

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Account information must be accurate.
  • One account per person.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. What Users May and May Not Do

  • No fraud or misrepresentation of skills, credentials, or identity.
  • No harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior.
  • No illegal work — including unlicensed work in a licensed trade, worker misclassification, or wage theft.
  • No off-platform payments intended to circumvent Knuckl. This restriction is a fraud-detection guardrail and is not intended to block legitimate business.

4. Content and Ownership

  • Users own the content they create — including job posts, applications, messages, and profile content.
  • By posting content, users grant Knuckl a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, transmit, translate, and process that content for the operation of the platform.
  • This license ends when the user deletes the content or their account.

5. Payments

Knuckl processes subscription and feature payments through Stripe.

  • Pro subscription: $29 per month, cancellable at any time.
  • Business subscription: $69 per month, cancellable at any time.
  • Boost purchases: pay-per-use for job visibility features.
  • Payments are non-refundable for services already rendered.
  • Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Boost purchases are refundable if we fail to deliver the boost within 24 hours. Contact support@knuckl.com.

6. Independent Contractor Relationship

Knuckl is a marketplace platform. Workers and contractors transact directly with each other, not through Knuckl. Knuckl does not:

  • Employ workers.
  • Set worker pay.
  • Manage jobsite safety.
  • Guarantee that workers will show up.
  • Guarantee that contractors will pay.

7. Verification Limits

Knuckl performs identity and credential verification on a best-effort basis. Users are still responsible for their own due diligence. Verification does not guarantee competence, safety, or reliability.

8. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time via profile settings, with a 30-day grace period or an immediate permanent-delete option.
  • Knuckl may suspend or terminate accounts for violating these Terms, fraud, or safety concerns.
  • Refunds for terminated subscriptions are pro-rated.

9. Intellectual Property

  • Knuckl branding, logos, and marketing content are owned by Knuckl LLC.
  • User content is owned by the user, subject to the license in the Content and Ownership section.

10. Warranties Disclaimed

The service is provided “as is.” Knuckl makes no warranty that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

11. Liability Limit

Knuckl’s total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid Knuckl in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.

12. Dispute Resolution

We prefer to resolve disputes informally first. Contact support@knuckl.com to try that.

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association’s Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be held in Orange County, Florida, or online. Small claims court is also an option for eligible disputes.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Miscellaneous

  • If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • Force majeure: neither party is liable for delays due to events beyond reasonable control.
  • Failure to enforce a provision does not waive future enforcement.
  • These Terms are the entire agreement between the parties regarding your use of Knuckl.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email and in-app notification. The effective date reflects the most recent change.
