Knuckl was built with one core belief: your skills define you — not your papers. We're here to connect hardworking people with the jobs they deserve, and we take your privacy seriously.
We will never ask for your immigration status, Social Security number, citizenship, or any government identification number. That's it.
To use Knuckl, we need your name, phone number, city, and trade skills. If you upload one, we store your profile photo. Contractors and subs also share their company details. We don't ask for a Social Security number, driver's license, passport, date of birth, or home address.
We don't track your movements outside the app. We don't build behavioral profiles. We don't use facial recognition. Your location is only used when you choose to share it for job matching.
We will never voluntarily share your personal information with immigration authorities, law enforcement, or government agencies. We will only comply with valid, specific court orders — never broad data requests.
Delete your account any time from Settings. Your profile and personal data are permanently removed within 30 days, and cleared from backups within 90 days. The only exception is data we're legally required to retain for an active legal hold.
All personal information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your data is stored securely and access is strictly limited to the platform's core matching functionality.
A few third-party services help Knuckl run: Supabase stores your data, Stripe processes payments, Twilio sends SMS notifications and phone verification codes, OneSignal delivers push notifications, and Cloudflare protects the site from abuse.
Any time, from Settings, you can download a copy of everything Knuckl has about you — your profile, messages, applications, and activity.
