Data Deletion Instructions
How to delete your Knuckl account and personal data.
You control your data on Knuckl. You can delete your account and all personal information at any time using either of the methods below.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
- Open the Knuckl app and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Scroll to Account & Security.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type
DELETEto confirm.
Option 2 — Email request
If you can't access the app, email us from the address on your account:
privacy@knuckl.comSubject line: Account Deletion Request. We'll verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, photo, bio, skills, certifications, work history)
- Your contact info (email, phone number)
- Your job posts, applications, matches, and connections
- Messages you sent (other participants' copies remain in their threads)
- Reviews and endorsements you authored
- Push notification tokens and session data
Timeline & what's retained
- 30-day grace period: your account is deactivated immediately and can be restored by you within 30 days.
- After 30 days: all personal data is permanently erased from our active systems.
- Limited retention: we may retain a minimal record (e.g., transaction logs, fraud-prevention signals, legal-hold data) only where required by law, in de-identified form where possible.
- Backups: data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten.
